Live: 2,400 Days Behind Bars for the Truth – A Conversation with Nedim Türfent

A recording from Democracy of Hope's live video

This morning, we had the honor of speaking with journalist and poet Nedim Türfent, who joined us live from exile to share his story of resistance, resilience, and renewal after spending more than six years in prison for documenting truth. In a conversation that moved between grief and hope, censorship and poetry, Nedim reminded us that words can be both weapon and refuge—that even in solitary confinement, the human spirit can refuse silence.
